Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Josef Dave Reyes Llorente (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the iOS application Geeco – Calisthenics AI Coach (the “App,” also referred to as “Geeco”).

The App is an on-device calisthenics workout tracker with a skill-progression layer. Features may include session logging (sets, reps, holds, weight, and assistance flags), saved routines, skill-path progress derived from logged work, a muscle-load map, session history and streaks, optional local workout and streak reminders, and an optional chat interface that can use Apple Intelligence / Apple Foundation Models on supported devices to interpret commands against data already stored on the device.

No user account or login is required. The App does not operate developer-owned backend servers, cloud sync, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. Workout logs, profile details, and skill progress stay on your device.

Information We Collect

What we do not collect. We do not collect personal information through developer-operated servers for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking. The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or crash SDKs beyond what may be provided by Apple as part of iOS and the App Store. We do not sell personal data. We do not receive your training logs, profile, or chat text on developer servers.

What may be processed on your device or by Apple.

• Profile details you enter (for example a display name, optional body weight, training days per week, available equipment, and sex used only to choose the muscle-map body model) are stored locally on your device.
• Workout sessions, routines, skill progress, ranks/streaks, and related preferences are saved in the App’s sandbox (for example a local state file in Application Support).
• Terms acceptance (version and time) is stored on the device for the App’s own records.
• Optional workout and streak reminders use Apple’s local notification APIs when you enable them. Reminder content is generated on-device and is not sent to the developer.
• Optional chat text is processed on-device. When Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models are available, intent extraction may use Apple’s on-device language model. If that model is unavailable, the App falls back to on-device heuristics. Chat is not designed to be uploaded to developer servers.
• App Store distribution information is processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and terms.

We do not receive training-data uploads to developer servers; the App has no developer-operated servers for that purpose.

Fitness and Profile Data

The App stores fitness-related information you choose to enter or that it derives from your logs (sessions, volume, muscle-load estimates, skill-node progress). As designed:

• This data remains on your device unless you explicitly share a screenshot or export through iOS system tools you choose
• The App does not use HealthKit and does not write to or read from Apple Health
• Sex is used only to select the male or female muscle-map model; it is not used for advertising or sent to the developer
• The App does not operate a cloud training diary or developer-hosted athlete profile

Notifications

Workout reminders are off by default. If you enable them, iOS will ask for notification permission. You can disable reminders in the App or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings. Scheduled reminders are local to the device.

On-Device Chat / Apple Intelligence

Optional chat is a front-end over the same local engines used by the rest of the App (logging, skill progress, navigation). When Apple Intelligence is available on your device and iOS version, a short prompt may be sent to Apple’s on-device Foundation Models to interpret your message. That processing is provided by Apple on the device and is not a developer-operated cloud AI service. If the on-device model is not available, the App uses local parsing only.

Purchases (Apple)

The App does not currently offer In-App Purchases. If paid features are added later, they would be processed by Apple StoreKit under Apple’s privacy policy and terms. We do not operate a separate payment processor for the App.

How Information Is Used

On-device profile, session, skill, reminder, and chat logic is used solely to provide App functionality (logging workouts, showing progress, scheduling optional reminders, and interpreting optional chat commands).

We do not use your training logs or profile for advertising, tracking across apps or websites, or building developer-side user profiles, because that data is not sent to developer servers.

Data Sharing / Selling

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share your workout logs or profile with third parties through developer-operated transmission, because the App does not upload that data to developer servers.

Apple may process information related to App Store distribution and, if you use them, Apple Intelligence and local notifications under Apple’s policies. This App does not use third-party advertising identifiers for ads.

Data Retention

Because training data is processed on-device and is not uploaded to developer servers, we do not retain your workout logs or profile on developer systems.

Local state remains on your device until you delete it in the App (You → delete all data) or remove the App, subject to how iOS manages app data. There is no cloud backup operated by the developer. App Store records associated with your Apple ID are retained by Apple according to Apple’s practices.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not require account creation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated servers.

International Users

The App processes data on the device where the App is installed. We do not operate developer servers that receive your training data. Apple may process App Store and Apple Intelligence data as described in Apple’s privacy materials.

This policy does not assert specific GDPR legal bases, data-protection officer appointments, or EU representative details.

Your Choices

• Profile: Edit name, weight, training days, equipment, and muscle-map sex in the App.
• Reminders: Enable or disable local workout reminders; manage notification permission in iOS Settings.
• Chat: Optional. You can use the rest of the App without sending chat messages.
• Deletion: Delete all local App data from You, or delete the App to remove it from your device, subject to how iOS manages app data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised when changes are posted. When this page is updated, use the same URL in App Store Connect.
